I haven't seen any real indication yet whether the site is run by him (least likely), run by someone authorized by him (certainly possible), or just run by a dedicated fan (also quite possible).

I took no chances. I added him as a friend. :pirate:

And then there's the bumper sticker: "Why do they call it 'tourist season' when we can't shoot them?" :) Sounds like a few misunderstandings are at the heart of this thread, as with many Internet interactions. Let's all keep in mind that what we're reading and what someone may have intende...

FWIW, I just got in the replacement roof beam for my Target tiki bar. Looks sturdy. I've installed it and sprayed the whole thing with Thompson's.

Now all I have to do is schedule the inaugural party...:)

Re: Lone Palm Ale

This may have been discussed before, but after a weeks visit to Myrtle Beach, SC and a long pit stop at M'ville in Myrtle...I tried the house draft "Lone Palm Ale", and it was GREAT!! I really liked the taste of it, especially for the darker Ale lovers out there. Has anyone else tried it?...

I just got the Target tiki bar a couple of weeks back. *Heavy* sucker. I got it after they dropped the price from $269 to $199. Assembly was fairly easy. The roof top piece was split - bamboo does that. I ordered a replacement from the 866 number, but haven't seen it yet. I'm already getting some sp...

I'm not sure how they rebroadcast out in CA, but we only got the first two songs on our local station, then local news until 10. :( Not only that...but they did song, cut to commercial, song, cut to commercial. So we missed pretty much anything Jimmy said or did between songs. And to me, that's the ...

I believe Buffett describes Buckley as a "humorist" during the intro to God's Own Drunk on You Had To Be There . You can read more about him here: http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:7257gjyrj6iw~T1 Buckley is kind of hard to classify. He started out in Vaudeville, and just so...

I'd be delighted to...however, I've got a gig in the Bay Area on 10/22, so I'll have to pass on that splendid Vegas hospitality this year. :(

OTOH, I *will* be hanging out at MOTM. :D

I hope everyone has a wonderful time!

Overall, I didn't miss the horns. I think two songs (and I can't remember which two) sounded jarringly different without them. Most of the rest sounded at least as good if not better. There seemed to be more focus on the music and on connecting with the audience than I'd noticed in years past. This ...
