Coopster, my hubby and I have a place just south of Morehead City (near Cape Carteret) and spend half our time there. There are so many good places to eat, more than ever before. In Beaufort, for upscale but casual dining, I recommend Frontstreet Grill at Stillwater on the waterfront. Fantastic food...

Cane Garden Bay, the main beach on Tortola, is beautiful. If you take an excursion there, leave your mode of transportation and walk to your right to the far end of the Bay and get away from your fellow "cruisers"....you'll get much more into the island vibe. All the people from the cruise...
