Eagles - Ron Jaworski, Bill Bergey, Wilbert Montgomery, hard to decide between Reggie White, Clyde Simmons, Jerome Brown, and Andre Waters. If we're going by stats, then it's Reggie. If we're going by sentient, then it's got to be JB. Phillies - Tug, Steve Carlton, Larry Bowa, Whitey, Johnny Cal. Ye...

Currently, I have two classic Weber Kettles.

A good friend of mine fabricated a chili roaster attatchment for me, which is also terrific for roasting onions and garlic.

Next spring, I'm planning to upgrade to the Ranch Kettle.

Technically, it's not a cover of a JB song, but I do love to hear Jimmie Dale Gilmore sing "Defying Gravity".

I live in Harford County, MD, we are right across Chesapeake Bay from Kent County, MD (Eastern Shore, rural). That would be right where I'm at. WKHS 90.5 is a station owned by Kent Co. Public Schools, but they sometimes pick up feeds from other stations. I can get them in pretty good on some nights...

I didn't know what a "rolf" was (as in, "...don't tell me that I ought to get rolfed..." from We Are the People), until I was in a bad car crash and my doctor ordered me to get one.

Re: "Don't Dance Like Carmen" Question

as far as Charo was concerned, the reason she stopped recording for so long was because she semi-retired to take care of Cugat after he had a stroke. And, yes, she was a fantastic guitar player. I saw her play with Chet Atkins on Hee Haw once and she really held her own with him . I just had to lau...

Re: "Don't Dance Like Carmen" Question

OK, in the verses that begin with "She and old Cougie, my what a pair...", who/what is "Cougie". I've searched the 'net for any reference of "Cougie" with "Carmen Miranda" but all I can find is various sites listing the lyrics to this song. I can't find any c...

...and that's not "attacking" when you're spewing right wing rhetoric and outright falsehoods?? No, it isn't an attack at all. It's addressing his policies and his record, not him, personally. Sorry if I confused your views with that of the typical Rush Limbaugh/Sean Hannity zealot. Now, ...

    I hear ya' Garry! It's just that, to borrow a Reagan line, I don't understand people that somehow feel that, economically, we're better off now than we were 10 years ago?? Well, THAT'S a no-brainer. I was MUCH better off 10 years ago. 10 years ago, I actually had THREE jobs...

Re: Was Charlie Gibson "fair" with Gov. Sarah Pali

It's interesting that you admit that John McCain is going to be the next eventual president, though. He was saying that the next eventual president will be either McCain or Obama, not a third party candidate. I don't think he's debating against other Obama supporters. It sounds like he's in agreeme...

If you're not defending or supporting John McCain, that's fine by me. I'm debating with anyone out there who's voting for the next eventual President, because it makes the conversation so much more relevant . Good luck with your 3rd party choice, and have a nice day :) OK. Just to recap: you never ...

For REAL change right now, I'd like to see ANY of the McCain supporters post what they think he WOULD do that doesn't duplicate or extend the administration's current policies. You really should put your text in quotes if you're simply going to parrot the slogans from FauxNews or that Little Green Footballs site. Practically every line of your post, I've seen written elsewhere in right wing attacks/excuses. This is a good example of what I'm talking about. "Lightenin...
