My Husband (Kokomo) is a huge BB Fan and bought this CD...he loves it. He says it's in the same style as Smile and Pet Sounds & tell's the story of Brian's early life in California. Brian tells little stories between tracks. Sounds like it might be worth picking up. Kind of sounds like a concep...

Re: Was Charlie Gibson "fair" with Gov. Sarah Pali

For some reason, the left just doesn't seem to understand that President Bush is not running for re-election. They have nothing else to run on so they have to hammer away at the "We're not George Bush" theme. I'm sure if a democrat were in office, the democratic candidate would get the sa...

Re: Was Charlie Gibson "fair" with Gov. Sarah Pali

Was Charlie Gibson "fair" with Gov. Sarah Palin? Did you see the interview? Mr. Good Morning America has interviewed many people. Do you feel there was another Charlie Gibson behing the microphone or like Fox news, was he fair and balnaced? I don't think he was fair at all. In fact, in tw...

By far, the best tribute band out there is Jimmy and the Parrots. They put put on a great show.

We saw Nautical Wheelers a couple of weeks ago and they're pretty good, too.

"jumped the shark" Fonzi in California....that's when it was all over with the show. Not to get off the subject but I'm a trivia geek and I've got to clear something up: Happy Days did not tank after that episode. It remained consistently in the top ten for four more years. You may now re...

Sail On, Bob Hood

We lost a good one this week. Every time there was a party or a get together, people would look at their watches and murmer, "Where's Bob", as if we were waiting for the curtain to go up on the evening's headlining act. Then, Bob would stroll into the room and the whole atmosphere would ch...

I don't want to judge it before I hear it because I really do like Todd Snider but heavy handed political songs really turn me off (and, yes, I would say the same about political songs with a conservative bent).

In all fairness, though, I do like Buddy Miller's "1,000,000 Little Bombs".

From Webster's: college football - a game played by student/athletes; indigenous to the United States, except the NYC area. College football is virtually nonexistent in the NorthEast. Glenn Beck gives shout out to Parrotheads
