I've forgotten if these guys were 80's or 90's, but it's hard as heck to find their CD now. It' a shame, 'cause that was some seriously good music (IMHO, of course!)

Good call on grabbing Floridays when you see it. Tough to find sometimes. For some reason, "No Plane on Sunday" is one of my faves. I kind of like the idea of getting stranded (temporarily) on an island some day. Nothing like being forced to take a day off. :lol: So.... with all the albums...

Just finished reading it today. There are some incredible characters, and a few scenes that are just seared into my mind. On the whole, though, the book felt a little inconsistent. Seemed like a good deal of time was spent on certain episodes that didn't directly affect the central theme of the book...

SMS! Seriously, Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, MO. D-1 school, originally a teachers college. Not too expensive, nice complex, terrific college town. Low crime, nice people. Not huge (175,000? in town), but not small. Don't know a lot about the track team, but sounds like your kid...
