Does it come with original artwork, and liner notes to give credit to the sweatshop employees who assembled it? On the first pages of the books (at least the old ones I have from the mid 80s) they actually do credit the writers of the story, music, lyrics, all the voice actors, the artists, the rob...

A nice, informing, fuzzy bear that provided both education and entertainment at the same time was a freak? I guess the moving eyes and mouth really freaked you out at the time.

I definitely agree with this article, and have always had the issue of not being able to do a #2 anywhere but my own John or the possible exception of the toilet at my Grandma’s house. But, I can’t say I’m that picky or have thought out everything this guy has. :o What’s really bad is when your at s...

I hope Backpack goes all out with this and also brings back the accompanying Grubby robot as well as the cartoon. A new cartoon/episodes would be great, but re-syndicating the old one would also do fine.

I still own many small figures as well as a play mat of Grundo.

Teddy Ruxpin's back!

Teddy Ruxpin out of hibernation/exile http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v234/parrotmonkey/Ruxpin.jpg 80s toy icon Teddy Ruxpin (from Words of Wonder) makes his return after (at least) 15 years of exile. Almost all children who grew up in the 80s remember Teddy Ruxpin as the source of many fond memo...

Believe it or not, unless you have something incredibly rare, vinyl really doesn't fetch all that much. For instance I know a lot of people that have the Lynyrd Skynyrd flame cover edition of Street Surviors that think they're sitting on a goldmine when in reality it only brings around $35 from col...

K? btw I won't be asking collector prices or anything near them. Me? I do have the least of anyone who posted in this thread I think. But first I must ask you:...

That’s what I thought, just like Walking Man.

I actually saw a copy of Gorilla at a Goodwill once, but it looked as if someone went back and time with it and brought it through WW2. It was that bad, so I held out.

I have all of those except the first on CD (among many others I also have on vinyl), so I’m aware of the material. Gorilla was one of the JT CDs I had to order, as it’s rather difficult to find in stores. Does the LP of Gorilla have any interior printed stuff, or is it just a front and back cover de...

I sure wish I did do, but my venues are limited you see as I’m not an ebayer, not yet at least. I’m collecting LPs from many artists at once, and I’ve had better luck in the Elton John, Billy Joel and James Taylor departments. Actually, where as I started out with none a year ago I now only need abo...
