There's a downside to the nano vs. the mini, and in my opinion, it's a big one. The $249 nano is 4 gigs, the $249 mini was 6 gigs. I got a 6 gig mini for my fiancee, and she filled it up instantly. If you're a music person like me, 4 gigs isn't close to enough, especially if you're like me and want...

Have fun in Vegas. Where are you staying? Wherever you stay, be sure to go see the fountains at Bellagio. I know what your thinking, "Fountains, big deal." I thought the same thing until I went, it is truly an impressive sight. I highly recommend getting a current guide book. There is so m...

Re: Wedding?

And this started off as advice on where to go on a honeymoon? Where's Dr. Phil????? :D Relax people! (In my best Texas accent) Today on Dr. Phil we have some people who can't let something go from one conversation when having another one. Now I have books, and I have tapes, maybe you've read my boo...

Of the few versions I've heard I'm kind of partial to Jimmy's version Is there a mp3 version of it out there somewhere? I've got it, it's from the New Orleans Arena show in 1999 or 2000. I'm not certain on the year, but it was the encore of his only show to date at the New Orleans Arena (he has sin...

I spent about a week in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica several years ago, and never once felt unsafe. The town was definitely 3rd-world, but I was never hassled by anyone. I even walked around at night, and ate in local restaurants with the fishermen. That said, I never got that nervous going t...

We have stayed in both the Sandals Grand Bahamian and the one in St. Lucis. I liked the one in St. Lucia better...very beautiful, as is the island. The pool area is nicer and the resort seems a bit of an upgrade to the Royal Bahamian. Not to mention, the people of St. Lucia are nicer...doesn't seem...

I've heard people say that Jamaica is a little dicey. Is this bad info?
Also 18+ is a huge advantage in my book, because, even though we love kids, my bride is a first grade teacher and we both want to get that whole away from the world feeling.
Thanks for your help already, please keep it coming.

I know for many that it's hard to think of vacation right now, but as a former New Orleanian myself, I'm starting to feel the need for a vacation more than ever. I'm getting married in November, and though we've talked about what to do for our honeymoon, now it's time to actually make the plans. The...

I did some graphic design work for the State of Tennessee. If you need a hand, let me know. I don't use Photoshop much because I primarily work in vectors (scalable art, from the side of a thumbtack to the size of a football field), but would be glad to offer my assistence. Sounds like you got it co...

I kinda met Nick Mars backstage at a show several years ago. He was playing with Vince Neil's band (Crue was not together at the time) and he seemed nice enough. Vince Neil on the other hand was a jerk to my friends and myself. We were guests of the co-headlining act, and when Vince got there he ask...

Shows how much I pay attention. I had totally forgotten the Monty Python origins of their name, and assumed the Eric Idle piece was more recent (he does tend to throw out random things like that from time to time).
