Ozzy was popular at the time of hair metal so I don't see how he'd be out of place on a channel called Hair Nation. XM's equivalant is Boneyard but not everyone they play fits snugly into the "hair metal" mode. Hell, some people have tried to say Led Zeppelin paved the way for the whole "c*ck rock" ...

Sonny did the Lowell George slide parts for some Waitin' for Columbus anniversary shows a few years ago and from all reports did an outstanding job. Kinda hard not to when you're among the premiere slide guitarists in the land.

Change hands.
Did you have a spare in a drawer somewhere or something?
Maybe "switch" would have been the more appropriate term.

Re: An Apology

Buffett Fans: I wholly apologize to anyone who attended Mac McAnally's show at the Stephen Talkhouse with the thought in mind that Jimmy would be making a guest appearance. Mac put on a wonderful show tonight, but like in past years, JB was a no-show. The information that I passed along on this for...

Yeah, I know the rearrangements can sometimes be a bit too much, it's just refreshing to see a performer out there that isn't afraid to take such chances with their audience. I never...

However, I have heard a cut from Ziggy's new record, which I liked.

I'd add The Gourds, the Old 97s, Bob Wills, Slobberbone, the Derailers, the Weary Boys, the South Austin Jug Band and Ramsay Midwood to the list. Not to mention Townes Van Zandt and Steve Earle.
