Wow...I just don't get the hatred going on here. Reality is supply and demand....reality is that Buffett sells out his concerts in 15-90 minutes. Reality is that if you can't get a ticket through TM or CC or whatever, you need to get one from another source. Since Buffett tickets are in high demand...

What you're doing isn't business; it's scalping, and it sucks. But its legal in Georgia and many other states. If someone wants to change it, then there are two ways to do it. Make people show an ID upon entry (like the Masters) or have all tickets General Admission. Ticket sales are first come, fi...

Business is business; if I have a chance to make money I'm going to take it. I don't go out and buy hundreds (or even tens) of tickets. I usually get about four and plan on selling two. If I get a good enough offer, the other two go as well. Everyone out there has the same opportunity to purchase t...

It's a 10,000 seat arena, so on the small side. Every seat is therefore relatively close to the stage. For other concerts I've been to there, seating is sold behind the stage. If you haven't been to the Mohegan Sun before, it would be worth the trip just to see it. I would guess, no tailgating allow...

I got decent seats to Fenway last year on Ebay. Paid about $10 over Ticketmaster price, which I don't consider to be too bad. One of the tricks with Ebay is to be patient. I agree with a previous post; set your bidding limit and don't exceed it. Eventually, good seats will become available at a reas...

I AGREE ON THE 2 SHOWS, BUT TO SELL OUT 2 SHOWS AT 60,000 WOULD BE TOUGH.IF YOU REMEMBER AT FENWAY THERE WERE A TON OF TICKETS ON THE STREETS AND THEY WEREN'T SCALPERS.I THINK TICKETS WILL BE EASIER TO GET AT A BIGGER VENUE. THE PRIME SEATS MIGHT NOT. HOPEFULLY THEY DO A PRE-SALE LIKE THEY DID WITH...

Gillette Stadium - Foxboro
Phily is scheduled for two shows in August. Chicago is rumored for two in early September. How come Foxboro is only rumored for one show in July. Jimmy sold out 2 shows at Fenway Park in less time than it took to blink. I know Gillette stadium is big, but the fan base here in New England is bigger. ...

I will be staying at teh Park Central which is across from Carnegie Hall, I am mostly looking for cheaper bars to go to at night, I am not looking for fancy clubs, and mostly nice places for lunch and breakfast that wont break the bank. I already have a nice dinner planned out at a place on restaur...

Re: New York City
I am heading to New York City this weekend. Anyone have any recommendations on bars and restaurants to go to? Can you be a little more specific regarding location, price, type of restaurant? The Manhattan yellow pages for Restaurants is almost bigger than our entire phone book back home. If you pro...

Beaches in Antigua
Hi All - I know this has nothing directly to do with Jimmy, but I get the feeling that many of you know a lot about the Caribbean Islands. We are going on a cruise next week that stops in Antigua. I've never been there before. Can anyone recommend a good beach, not too far from where the ship docks ...

Tinley wasn't broke and there's no reason to fix it, I don't care what anyone says, Wrigley is not Buffett freindly and it's gonna be a logistical nightmare. We said the same thing about Fenway and Great Woods last year. Ended up having a great time at Fenway. About ticket prices and availability, ...

This is de ja vu, all over again! Fenway fielded all of the same complaints! The big difference is that the Red Sox don't own their own ticket broker....at least you had a chance to get decent tickets at face value. At Wrigley, if you want anything good, you'll probably need to pay $500 or more. :(...

I hope this isn't accurate, because as historic and fantastic as Jimmy's playing Fenway was, it was a less-than-optimum venue for a concert, as are most stadiums..... :-? once or twice a year in a stadium? fine. a whole tour? ick..... :-? I whole-heartedly agree. Fenway was a once in a lifetime exp...

Before I sound like a whiner. Let me say this. The concert was great. It was louder than my first concert at Great Woods and the crowd was way more into the show. I was suprised how many people just sat and had conversations in my section at GW in 2003. This show was much louder (Not deafening but ...

Are any of you going to the Sunday Fenway show? I will be in attendance for the Sunday show!!! :D :D Yes, will be there Sunday. I got pretty good seats recently on EBAY at just slightly over face. Don't get me wrong, I hate ticket scalpers and rarely go that route, but I was desperate. There seems ...
