Well a liter of Cruzan rum is $6 at the airport, and you can bring back 6 liters with you (gotta go thru customs when departing the USVI). A beer at the hotel bar here is $4 or $4.50, and that's on the high side. Where are you staying on St. Thomas?

Well you're missing the Rolex Regatta this weekend in St. Thomas. And "cheap" is a relative term here, almost everything is more expensive than on the mainland, even at the non-tourist traps. Well, except rum. 8) What dates are you here? I'm going home for Easter weekend, but I'll be back ...

I LOVE the trolleys. Sometimes I take the Amtrak from Milwaukee for a day, there's a trolley stop right by Union Station and it goes to all the areas I usually visit.

Dunno if they did it anywhere else, but here in SE WI, about 10-15 years ago McDonald's actually sold "McFish Fry" during lent. Also, most KFC's around here serve fish during lent, which I believe is something they don't do anywhere else. (BIG catholic population here) Darn, now I'm cravin...
