Hey, Brenden! I always wanted to get out past the golf course and the airport on Paradise Island to the EAST. That's where "Snorkeler's Cove" appears on some maps (it's called "Smuggler's Beach" on other maps - both intriguing names, to this snorkeling-fool pirate). This is the d...

PS:
Johnny Canoe's has some great photos of the Bahamas in the 1920's, when commercial sponge harvesting was still occurring. It's a cool place, colorful, music is great, the patio is really spacious.

Nightlife...........go to the Fish Fry, if you want to party with both locals and tourists. It's really fun there! There are about 12 little funky restaurants and bars that cook up fish and conch fritters and rum drinks. It's a very cool scene, especially on weekends. One place might be playing regg...

Hi! I lived on New Providence for a summer when I was a student. There's a lot to do in Nassau without spending much $, especially since you'll only be there for a weekend. The water temperature is perfect, so you may not do much more than go swimming and snorkeling. For dinner, you MUST go to the F...

I think it's a little early for the Grey Whale migration when we can see whales from the cliffs......I think they're still up in Alaska eating lots of whatever they eat, getting pregnant, and they're getting ready for the long swim down to Baja. We see them lots in the winter because Grey Whale moms...

Yosemite! Yosemite! There are huge Sequoias in the southern part of the park, for your big tree fix. You might be able to reserve some tent cabins at Curry Village, if you go on-line right now (don't wait until September). For your first time in Yosemite, rent some bikes to check out the valley. Do ...

Hey! Another vote for a hotel room. Inexpensive ones exist, even across the street from the park. Get one with a shuttle because chances are you'll be carrying some little keets back to the hotel each night. The best deal in Disneyland is on Main Street.......there are daypack-size LOCKERS! They are...

Yosemite - so very beautiful and lots to see. How many days do you plan on being there? If only 2 or 3 days, make sure you get up to Glacier Point (hopefully you will have a car?) and then walk out to Taft Point, too (an easy mile). Taft Point is on the road to Glacier Point and looks down on El Cap...

Morning! We have to raise the 1.5 mil way ahead of the concert. Half a mil goes to the band when we sign the contract, then another half mil gets paid a month before the concert and the third half mil we estimate will be needed for insurance, renting the venue, and many other things. But then, a LOT...

Only 13 of us on the West Coast? Oh, well............but I vote for Red Rock. Colorado would be one dynamite road trip and it's close to a major airport for all those who'd be flying in!
