I found Toyota Park to be outstanding, when compared to the venue in Tinley (whatever they call it these days). Of course, sitting in the 2nd row of section 104, I didn't experience the smells of Argo or the vendors parading through the seats. My only disappointment (rather small) was parking. when ...

thanks for the posts. Yes, traffic is really bad, and thankfully I have someone to do the driving for me. Staying at the diamond district. it's not bad. Did the Leela brunch first weekend, and will probably return a half-dozen more times. went to the 100 foot one evening, but was three sheets to the...

No Buffett in Bangalore, India

Nothing better than having access to radio margaritaville when you're half-way around the world. no one is looking forward to this Friday's concert more than me, even if it is through the 'net. hope to be back in the states before Tinley, IL starts rocking.

It most certainly was a telepromter. he didn't seem to use it much except between songs, to keep him on his path. the 10/22 concert was awesome! and listening to the 10/29 show was great. Listening to him sing heart of gold was memorable. looking forward to vegas in '06 :D

What I found interesting was his comment that he didn't want to be known as an artist with one hit song (M'ville). On the other hand, he wants us to get a life. Our lives, for whatever they are, have kept Jimmy from being a one-hit wonder.

I guess if you knew nothing about Jimmy, it was good. Unfortunately, everything Kroft discussed with Jimmy, or narrated was already known by us parrotheads. Kroft earned an easy dime on this one!

And, yes, we all noticed the southpaw stroke.

Good luck to all those on the gulf coast. Maybe we can look forward to Jimmy's help after this hurricane season! "Entertainer Jimmy Buffett, a native of Mobile, Ala., plays to a hometown sellout crowd Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, during a concert to benefit victims affected by hurricanes Mitch and ...

Maybe I'm too easy, but I'm just there to listen to whatever Jimmy wants to play. "Escapism" is a release into the wonderful world of relaxation. If there's a better way to do it, let me know. Unfortunately, the touring, one day, will come to an end. Until then (and even thereafter), i'll ...

Listening to JB in the car has become a religion for me and my keets (11 & 8). They've become hugh fans! Ended up taking them to Margaritaville twice while in Orlando in July.
