Re: Daytona Beach
Here's a very good restaurant Park's Seafood, it's along the river. They have a great selection of reasonably priced Early Bird meals with very good portion. They do have other items besides seafood. We always eat here when in Daytona: http://www.parkseafood.com/ Another very good restaurant is down...

Re: Who's going to Nashville May 1, 2010?
Another top spot to eat while in Nashville is the Loveless Motel and Cafe. It is south of the downtown area but worth the trip. It's at the north end of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Talk about world famous biscuits and some of the best country ham. It's all Good!!!!! Open for Breakfast, Lunch and Supp...

They are still working on the new bridge, so traffic may be backed up. Just depends on when you go. Here is an article on the new bridge. http://scienceray.com/technology/engineering/the-incredible-hoover-dam-bypass-bridge-under-construction/ It is pretty cool to see. We were by there in July. We di...

Re: Anyone know of a great seafood restaurant in Orlando
If you are out near the west side of Disney there is a very good Cuban restaurant at Celebration called Columbia. They have locations throughout Florida. I can't say I have had their seafood when I was there. But everything that I have had has been excellent. Do make sure to have their 1905 salad. I...

Not sure if they do anything special in the town of Christmas, Florida. It's east of Orlando.

Have to agree on Columbia at Celebration, very good restaurant. The 1905 Salad is great and the Cuban Sandwich is excellent. Many other yummy items on the menu. Make sure and save room for dessert. Our favorite is the Brazo Gitano "Cien Años" . http://www.columbiarestaurant.com/celebration...

I usually play Conky Tonkin' when I hit the Seven Mile Bridge. Otherwise for the rest of the trip, any of Jimmy's tunes will do for us.

Re: TODAY show in Key West Tuesday 7/28/09
Nice plug for my girlfriend's favorite place to shop in Key West: Fast Buck Freddies. It looked like when Matt and Al made it out of Fast Buck Freddies that they blurred out the Margaritaville sign in the background. Just a quick little reference to Blue Heaven while watching the chickens and chicks...

Do make sure and take in the video at the visitor center. It is down in the basement. It gives a good perspective on what went on at the Little Big Horn. Also take in the Ranger's talk about the area and the more or less perfect storm that lead up to Custer's Last Stand. http://www.nps.gov/libi I wo...

Going to the Eiffel Tower, Yes, do get there early. We were there a few years ago and made it up in one of the first groups. By the time we came down the line was extremely long. We did also do a lunch on the deck level at the fine restaurant there. No reservations, but were there early enough that ...

$20 ticket for a seat in Sec 1 at Charlotte
Yes, that is right $20 is what I paid. Here's my story and I am sticking to it: I had no ticket for the Charlotte show on Tuesday night. I had even thought of just hanging out in the lot and listening to the songs. But low and behold right after buying a T shirt a lady and guy had a ticket For Sale ...

Made it to the show. The tailgating was nothing like Alpine but was still good. I had no ticket, I had even thought of just hanging out in the lot and listening to the songs. But low and behold right after buying a T shirt a lady and guy had a ticket For Sale for $20. I figured a Lawn. No they said ...

Another good resource for info on Alaska is the Milepost Book. They have these at Barnes and Noble (a little pricey roughly $29.95) but you can just take a look at it there. Check the local library they may have a copy. Here is the website

Re: Alaskan cruise
Not sure how much the train trip out of Skagway is. We rode the motorcycles in and took the ferry up to Haines when we came into Alaska. Then we rode back into Skagway on our way out and took the ferry to Juneau and then down to Prince Rupert, BC, Canada. The inside passage was very cool. The ferry ...

Sure, I blast out the post and then I start searching for the Cap'n Ron's list and low and behold there is a new version from 2004. Try this: http://piratejohntravel.com/BuccaneerPress.com/FL_Keys_Adventure_Guide.pdf A little out of date since it is 2004 but most things still work and are there And ...

Re: Cap'n Ron's Florida Keys Adventure
Sorry to say that I am pretty sue the server that had Cap'n Ron's list on it has shutdown. I originally looked at the list by way of the Margaritaville discussion board. Even a few years back it was somewhat outdated but still quite a few places were still around. Then I think it was a year or two a...
