I'm not sure what Garth Brooks contributed to country music other than his own watered down brand of "arena country". When it comes to country artists from the late 80s I'll stick to my Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam, Lyle Lovett and Nanci Griffith records instead. Garth was just never my cup...

EastTexPH, I agree, sinatra was my 2nd choice because of that exact reason. . . . the beatles / elvis may not have been as popular if it wasn't for sinatra's major contribution to "pop" music, but all of them in their own way made major contributions

"Last Mango In Paradise" in St. Martin. . . . Its right in downtown Phillipsburg closer to the dock. . . . its kinda like a fake Margaritaville store, but its really close to the Guavaberry Store which has the most unbelievable Guavaberry liquors and sauces
