Re: George Strait's eyebrow

.... is gone. Apparently, George Strait was at the Mandalay Bay Casino last night and had too much to drink. He went to fire up a cigar and somehow burnt off one of his eyebrows. I guess we'll have to see how he looks tonight at the ACM awards although you may not have guessed it, George Strait has...

I am quite proud to say that in 1969 I had a long argument with John Denver. I was very upset that he took Chad Mitchel's place in the Chad Mitchel Trio. We got over it and ended up "rockey mountain high." That said, please listen to, or better yet read the lyrics of John Prine. Few singe...

in all seriousness a1aara, lets stop this right now. It's getting old and I'm gonna take the higher road here and edit my previous post and be the mature one here. It's sad that the 20 year old is more mature than the 40 year old

I completely agree, a1aara's comment came off as insulting but thats okay  I found you original post insulting but thats okay :-? was my original post directed at you?? no, so why w...

I'm 53, and this may sound crazy, but I'm actually FLATTERED when young people like the same kind of music that I do. BTW-I DO like all of Jimmy's records/albums/C.D.s/whatever. There's only about 6 or 7 of his songs that I don't care for. You're 3 years younger than my Dad is(who I converted to a ...

I have always thought John Denver was both the best lyricist and songwriter that ever lived . . .for John Prine though, i must say that he's good but IMO he's no John Denver (as strange as that sounds). I completely agree that both JD and JB are both poets at heart. And I also share JD's passion fo...
