No it doesn't. Only the government can infringe your consitutional rights so unless phjim and the moderators are government agents in disguise the First Amendment argument, which so many people like to throw around, is irrelevant. Wow I didn't know we had such a scholar of con law. Well let me get ...

I own two companies that thank god have been successful (knock on wood) and am almost constantly working, so those 10-12 days that i take off for buffett concerts will probably be the only days i take off for a while (excluding the obvious like christmas ect) but im young, with no real responsibili...

However...... #1 Why do you care? AND #2 What makes it your business? People have priorities.... if you want something bad enough...you make it work! It his business because its an interesting question and I am pretty sure the First Amendment still applies. As for priorities..I saincerely hope that...

What if we pool our money and designate someone to show up early. Everyone wanting a spot would send their money to this person and they would pay for the spots up front when they arrive. Ignoring thread Nazi. Thats where the problem was for steelers games. People who had tailgated for years next t...

I guess that the almighty $ is their driving force, and not playing smaller venues. uhhh, nevermind that last statement. of course it it! Although I never get tired of the incessant "why doesn't he play (fill in blank) anymore", I do have a question... If you could work 3 days and make a ...

But during that concert it hit me that he HAS to play SYKBH. And he HAS to appeal to fair weather phans as well as the diehards like us. Jimmy is savvy enough to know if he stopped playing SYKBH it would be like committing professional suicide. You just figured this out...lol? This also ignores the...

Yep! It's true...but it doesn't make me less of a fan...just less fortunate for the years I haven't been able to appreciate the music, the man, or the lifestyle
thats how I feel! I miss the years could have been into him and was not that smart!

That is #1 on my list of favorite Jimmy songs so I always had an appreciation for it. However as goofy as this sounds...I don't remember if I have seen it live or not...somehow I think i might have but can't remember where!

Perhaps, but there are those type fans at a concet for any performer, they are a small minority. what I am speaking of is this idea that somehow real fans are losing their "entitlement" to tickets to the "non-real fans" and I am trying to see what the difference is. For example, ...

Loved It Live

I do not think this has been done before so I will give it a try. Name a song that you didn't really give much attention to until you heard Jimmy do it live and gained a new appreciation for.

Mine was his solo performance of "Dreamsicle" in Pittsburgh, 92.

The reason Jimmy can sell out two dates at Wrigley in 2005 is due to the constant efforts of the real fans that turned out the numbers year after year throughout the Midwest and elsewhere. First of all welcome to the board. Ignore the folks on here who will give you grief because they think that a ...

I haven't looked but that seems stiff. However a word of warning from a seasoned Steelers fan from experience. The parking lots around the stadium are NOT owned in any manner byt the Pirates, Steelers or PNC Park. THey have no control over what those lots do. Expect price gouging and they are genera...

All I can add is that I find Jimmy and his corporate success and marketing and very slick business plans (and make no mistake about it folks, he banks on the fact we buy anything he does.) very interesting when you consider his politics.

Thats like asking someone What is your favorite lover? There are some things that we can't answer. There are just too many to call my favorite. I think it would stink because those folks are little more than Buffett imitators themselves so it'd end up being kinda redundant. Just my two cents. I find it so interesting that somehow people think Jimmy has got some copyright on anything having to do with the beach. Actually some of the stuff J...
