Re: Anyone not like LTC?
Sea of Heartbreak has a particularly bad lyric, IMO. "I'm like a lost ship, lost on the sea." Of course you're lost on the sea. Where else would you be lost, in the harbor? C'mon flipflops, you remember what Frank Bama once said, "the best navigators are not quite sure where they are...

Re: Boats to Build and COC = jimmy's story to his fans?
Not easily being able to categorize his sound has long been part of the Buffett mystique, I'm not sure what this would seem to indicate now, he's merely commenting on the obvious. You said it, Jahfin.....considering how we true Buffett fans have always appreciated his ability to transcend/cross/cre...

Stealing the peanut butter...very nice Loved that one too, Pencil Thin. See how many old Buffett song titles and catch phrases you can find sprinkled throughout LTC. What a great album to recruit new parrotheads...but also to reward long-time fans with jewels like the peanut butter line. Keep sprea...

Take some advice from the new album....visit the Coast of Carolina!!! Just a little further south of Virginia Beach is the Outer Banks of NC....beautiful beaches....lots to do....great restaurants. It's a much different pace than the Ocean Cities and Virginia Beaches of the world, but there are stil...

Country music?
Before you answer, define "country music".....is it the steel guitar and fiddle of vintage country, or the southern rock fusion with folks like Travis Tritt? Or maybe the too-acoustic-for-top-40 sound of lots of artists who got pegged into country. IMHO, one of the best aspects of JB's mus...

ya i agree...can't go wrong with the Outer Banks....I always go to Ocracoke...small town, natural beaches...nice restaurants and a few bars...my kind of place! MelliJellyBean, do you ever take the Ocracoke - Swan Quarter Ferry? It's a 2.5 hour ride, but a great way to start your vacation and get yo...

Gotta cast my vote for the Outer Banks....especially South Nag's Head (below milepost 17)....very quiet and great OF houses to rent. The OBX is the best of both worlds...quiet, wide beaches, but you can get to great restaurants, water sports, shops, etc very easily. Myrtle Beach? Too overgrown....tr...

fave lyric?
Salt air it ain't thin,
It can stick right to your skin,
And make you feel fine.
Best when listened to at Milepost 20....Nags Head, NC. With some Coronas in the cooler and a fishing line in the surf.

Thanks!
Thanks!

Anyone have a photo of what the t-shirt art looks like for the LTC tour?
Going to see JB in Manassas in July...just curious what the shirts look like.
Thanks.
