I don't want to get into any long discussion on this subject (and this is not a criticism), but I am just curious as to when Jimmy reduced the length of the show by somewhere between 20 minutes to a half hour.

It seems that Mac's appearances at the Stephen Talkhouse have not been "mutually beneficial" for all parties involved, as there will not be a Mac show there prior to JB's August 19th date at Jones Beach. If anybody knows of other Long Island area appearances in that timeframe, I'd apprecia...

Was at the Martha Clara Vineyard show, and I know for a fact that it wasn't recorded. ...and sometimes you just get lucky...this morning I got in about ten seconds to the hour, and got a single in section C, row D, right on the center aisle in Jones Beach (four rows back, just right of center). Never happened to me before in over ten years of trying...guess it's the economy. <g>

As far as Jimmy's mike on Weather...it was on, just not at the level it normally is when he's singing. Just listen to the recording of the song in the concert trading thread...you can clearly hear Jimmy singing the first line. By the way, I was pretty close to the front too and I didn't see Mac tap...

This was the only JB show that I went to this summer (most years I see two or three, but the economy has hit my business hard), so I paid some extra bucks to get a second row, dead center orchestra seat. Unfortunately, it seems to me that the closer you sat to the stage, the more sins were revealed....

Thanks...I guess that means that Jimmy did not join Ilo last night!! I may still have time to get out to the Talkhouse for the show if I drive fast enough from Manhattan. I would call for tickets first...the Talkhouse is TINY. ...and the word is out that Jimmy & Mac will be likely be in attenda...

The show is TONIGHT.

Rumor has it that Ilo Ferreira will have a couple of "very special guests" when he plays tomorrow night (7-29 @ 9PM) at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, Long Island!
