Excellent lyric use!

I'll add one:

Re: Frisco 2010

For Pete's (and Molly's) sake ... I'm an 58-year-old hormonal woman who does NOT wait well ... c'mon Jimmy ... if for nothing else, announce a date for Frisco so my husband's life can return to normal. :o :o :o :o :o :o :o Okay. Moment of hysteria over - for the time being. Yes, this!

Re: I May Have Failed To Mention This Before.....

Though I also think you can't go wrong with Boobies, they do less for me as I have a pair of my own. I'm taking one for the team, too, even in my mostly-lurker state. Play the song, Jimmy! (It doesn't hurt that I love it dearly, too! A1A FTW.)

Re: Frisco 2010

When did they announce it last year? It seems to me it was the first week in Feb. ? Last year it was 2/1. There was an ad in the Sunday Dallas paper. In 2008 it was 2/19. In 2007 it was 2/20. You amaze me.............what do you do, write this down in a journal? Now I can usually guess - as my birt...

Re: Frisco 2010

I could be wrong on the year, but I know he missed one, because I didn't get to see him that year. I was thinking about flying to Boston to see him with another friend/up this way, but I couldn't afford it and I missed out that year. 2002 was my first Dallas show 2003 was the year of my best person...

Re: Frisco 2010

It's been a long time since Jimmy missed Dallas (Frisco is a suburb.). :D Oh, not that long, my friend. He didn't love us in 2005. Wasn't 2005 the year Al-a-Bastard surprised most everyone? Wasn't that the year I picked him up at D/FW with pink hair? Wasn't that the year before Hoot Island? It's he...

Oh, and I also vote for 4/24. I'd love to make it, but...not too likely. We'll see!

Re: Tour 2010!

For my money, the parking lot is the best at Frisco (Dallas). And yes, I've been to GW. Only once, I confess, and that was last year, which apparently was really screwed up, but you can't beat the tons of clean real bathrooms, the pavilions, the huge grassy areas to play on, and Mr. Play's serious p...

Of course, there was another hit in the summer of 1977, too...some movie came out or something?

What a great year!

Re: Surgery music

This is what I meant: My wife works with alot of doctors, about 70% of them like Buffett alot. And of them, about 90% have a boat and a few have pilots licenses as well. I'm not presuning anything. Huh. I would not have guessed that. Cool. I guess I just know younger docs! Good to know it gets bett...

Re: Surgery music

My wife works closely with alot of doctors. I would guess 65-75% of them like Buffett. But it makes sense to me as alot of them have boats or fly in their free time. Speaking on behalf of myself (a veterinarian) and a very dear friend (a physician), I can say that that is entirely presumptuous. Man...

Oh, yeah. C-sections are intense!

I do have a playlist all lined up for if I ever have a baby. And there's much Jimmy there!

Re: Surgery music

On the animal doc side of things, I would agree that most GPs listen to music in surgery and with surgeons proper, it's probably 50/50 in my experience. Maybe more. JB surgery memories: 1-there's a clinic in northwest Texas that is owned by two huge PHs. They have Jimmy on all the time. 2-when I was...

Re: Looked Strange To Me

The Manfield show opened with the National Anthem which was a great touch. But the tradition when the National Anthem plays is for men to take off their hats. All those around me in the arena did. But the musician on stage playing it, Shimabukuro, had a hat on. When I was young and in the army, I s...
