For those who love Starbucks

found something fun to share: I just got the Starbucks Duetto card. It is a regular Visa credit card but the rewards are points good at Starbucks. The credit card is also your Starbucks card. So it works like a credit card and gift card all in one. The best part is the rewards are given monthly in $...

I truly believe, no I know.....that MD-DC-VA drivers do not know that the left lane is for PASSING ONLY !!!! I took drivers ed in MD and it was never explained that the far right was the slow lane and far left the fast lane. I didn't learn until I was 17 and drove to Florida. Lemme just tell you.......

I'm not quite sure what to expect, that's one situation I haven't studied.

But if any specific issues arise, feel free to PM me; I'm studying to become a certified dog obedience instructor and have read alot on canine behavior. (my friend's refer to me as the "dog whisperer" LOL)

I absolutely hate using them! I shop at a fast pace and they just slow me down. If it doesn't fit in my arms or a basket it doesn't get bought.

RESPONSE FROM MD STATE GOV'T

I first emailed the Mayor of Baltimore and he directed me to the state government. This is the response I received: "Baltimore City taxicabs and taxicab drivers are regulated by this Commission. We require and conduct regular inspections of taxi vehicles, we monitor insurance coverage, and we i...

Cab situation on NYE (response from gov't now posted)

Sorry I just need to vent! I live in Baltimore county, 10 minutes north of Baltimore City. This year for New Year's Eve, three friends and I went to the "Big Night Baltimore" at Raven's M&T stadium in the city. Wanting to drink and still be responsible, we took a cab from my house to t...

I've been doing medical billing for many years. I will tell you this, ANY insurance (Cobra or not) will do ANYTHING to GET OUT OF PAYING. I know personally of insurance companies that pay their employees bonuses for NOT paying claims. If they can find one character on a claim that is wrong, they wil...

Ocracoke Island definitely. Once the hideout of Blackbeard, it is the coolest tiny island ever. You can get to it by car ferry from the southern tip of the Outer Banks. We stayed in Avon, NC and took the ferry over. Avon was very nice, quiet. But that was years ago, so it may be more built up now.

CIA leak, Cheney aide indicted...can someone explain?

OK I consider myself to be somewhat intelligent and educated. But I have not been keeping up with this from the beginning and now I want to know what's going on and am thoroughly confused. Can anyone explain? How does all of this relate to the war and weapons of mass destruction? I have tried readin...

Pawtucket Police Detective Donti Rosciti said one of the mothers called police, saying she wanted the fist fight documented because her son had three minor scratches on his face, and she didn't want his school accusing her of abuse. Sad thing is, she's got a point..... :-? Um yeah!! I personally li...

The average american weighs 150 lbs?

So we all know that the Coast Guard regulates how many people can be on a watercraft, but did you know how they come up with that number? In reading an article on the recent boat capsize in NY, I found out that they estimate the average person to weigh 150 lbs. I weigh 150 lbs, so I found this intri...
