Thanx pollyroger, It's a 4 year old Sony Vaio Z505LSK running Windows 2000 Pro and a new Novatel V620 aircard. I did the delete button with no luck then the F8 button (which is the one it says when it boots up) and didn't see anything saying bios settings. I'll try the google search. I appreciate it.

I am having trouble getting my aircard to work with my laptop and after spending WAY to many hours with several tech supports and no help from them I found out at a EVDO forum that a solution is to change a setting in the bios settings upon booting up. Anybody know how to access that bios setting? W...

Ok, I got my card yesterday and went to install the software and it says I don't have a wi-fi adapter.

Can anybody tell me what a wi-fi adapter is? How much? What is a decent one?

I'm kinda torn because I have had cable for years now and I'm very used to it. Moving to something slower would be a bummer, but the added option of being able to use it anywhere in the house/work is VERY intriguing.
