The funny part to me is that he didn't want to make this album in the first place. He mentioned it to his label and they said "sure, we'll see, maybe". Not until they actually heard the music did they say that he HAD to make the album and they would help him promote it even though it wasn'...

I think he will go back to what he was doing before with maybe 1-3 "islandesque" songs per cd.
I'm guessing he'll write a few songs on it now that he's done a whole album of originals.
I believe you are correct.

I would imagine that is WHY Jim made a KC dedicated thread though......so people who don't want to hear/read about KC don't half too. But when there are sane threads about a subject and someone pops in and says "so and so stinks" it is pointless. That is the point.... :D

I believe what happened is that KC had a life changing moment. He did not write many, if any, of his songs in the beginning. He did pick the songs that became 2 Gold, 2 Platinum, 1 Double Platinum, 2 Triple Platinum and 1 Quadruple Platinum selling albums. Give him some credit for that. Then he had ...

Anybody work for Verizon Wireless?

I am looking for a new job and have talked with Verizon Wireless today. They have me coming in for a test/interview on Monday and I was wondering if anybody on this board worked for them and if there are any "hot topics" that I could bring up in an interview that might help. It's for a Coo...

Late 80's for me. '86 or '87 I drove a buddies car back from South Carolina to Maryland and he had "SYKBH" in the tape player and I listened to it non-stop for 12 hours. First concert was within the next year.

I think an important stat to look at is clicking on someone's profile to see what their average number of posts per day is. Elderflower is at 0.10....I am at .30, for example. I think this really gives a truer picture of posting activity, dontcha think?
Good idea. I'm at .42 a day.

There is Jimmy Buffett and there is Kenny Chesney. Just like Honda and Nissan, Beatles and Stones, Target and Walmart, Britney and Jessica, Exxon and Citgo, etc. Some people like one or the other and some people like both. Nothing more than that, nothing less. It is so funny to see people get bent o...
