Hey Alpiners! Not long now---spending the day getting everything packed up and ready to go to WI tomorrow morning. Will be pre-partying in Beloit as training for Saturday's tailgate. Here's hoping for good weather and a great time for everyone.

The Alpine bar is still open...though rainy here in west central Illinois today, it looks like a great weekend to get into the Buffett spirit. Though I think that I am there most of the time.

No, actually I live in Galesburg, but am in Peoria frequently--and this weekend for Rhodell's and JB at the Chiefs game. U going to be there?

Woo hoo! 10 days and counting---tomorrow we get to the single digits! I'm getting excited. Last weekend I organized all of the tailgating stuff and this weekend I will do the same plus go to a Jimmy Buffett night at the Peoria Chiefs game.

It has become an addictive hobby. I've introduced some friends to it and we brewed twice in June. I ususally brew once a quarter, but more often now with these friends. What better fun---to drink beer while you are making beer!!!

Hey, where is the party at in 119 days?

That was my first show at Alpine--what a memorable one! It was a constant downpour the whole time and we had a hard time getting the car out of the lot as it sank so much in the mud. The transmission never worked right in the car after that and my friends had to trade it soon thereafter. Then there...
