Yeah, he's the "Original Islander." Advertising major who knows the angle to play. That's fine for folks to enjoy his stuff, but it's fairly clear what Chesnutt is doing. Mr. Mid-30s Island Native with his boat, tiki bar and sextent singing about all his deep life experiences in the sand, ...

Not a big fan of Chesney, I just think he's too contrived in his attempt to bring 'escapism to country music.' He's doing everything he can except re-record Margaritaville to move into the sector. I'm figuring he'll try to write a novel, take flying lessons, start up a web-based radio station and op...

Yup, all this rhetoric and very little substance really from both sides. Amazing how Kerry says he can fix everything and evidently has a "plan" for anything that ails you.

Bush on the other hand does a lot to distance many voters from his platform.

Almost makes me want to not vote.

Well, I don't actually drink the stuff straight....I'm not that hardcore! Yeah, had the Cabo Wabo, but at $44 a bottle, it's a little steep for the effect one gets.

Kerosene...Gasoline...lighter fluid....no, it ain't dat bad.

Margaritaville Tequila and Mix

Strange thing happened in the river city of St. Louis over this past month- all the major grocery chains nixed their supply of Margaritaville brand libations (or mother's milk, or liquid gold, or drink of the Tiki Gods, or whatever else you call this wonderful tonic). I was absolutely stunned and st...

Looking for Jimmy, Ralph MacDonald and Mac to combine on a salty, Caribbean BBQ album which delivers hazy images of lone palms, girls from Martinique, papayas, fires on the beach and renegade pirate treasure.

Someday he will!

Have to go along with what's mostly been stated:

Early JB: A1A

Mid-Life Crisis: Harbour

More Mainstream: Meet Me... or Far Side of the World

Each are slices of life at that point. Still, everytime I listen to it, A1A seems like the best I've ever heard.

Aloha!
