Waylon's cover of "He Went To Paris" is great!!! He also covers "Defying Gravity" although that's not a Buffett original Willie and Waylon's "If I can Find a Clean Shirt" cd is my favorite of all of their collaborations. "Drinkin' and Dreamin" is one of my fav...

I agree!!! Don't these other tropical performers know that they are not allowed to write songs about the life they lead? Jimmy has a copyright on the Caribbean and any songs that mention anything related to it. The following artists should be sued: Kenny Chesney, Eddy Raven, Jim Morris, Sunny Jim, ...

I joined back in 2000 when there were only a few of us and it was known as the Sandbar. Since then I've left, came back, re-registered a couple of times and lost my post count. Remember, it's not the size of the post count but what you do with them. yeah I know...that's what all guys with small post...

As an NFL fan you can't seriously not know that the Superbowl was in Jacksonville, or that Jax is in Florida for that matter. I mean Jacksoville's had an NFL team for a decade. Jacksonville is not as small as some think and it's actually the biggest city in America landwise. The fireworks lea...

I liked the Fed Ex commercial with the ten things it takes to make a good commercial.
I thought it was funny when Burt Reynolds got kicked in the groin by the bear and said
"Fed Ex, the best way to save your package"

IMO, the bottom line is, Jimmy Buffett as a solo country performer is a tricky sell, and RCA/Mailboat did not handle the situation correctly. I think any more attempts at country radio success off of LTC, will be a waste of time. The ship has sailed and the marketing gurus who handled this situatio...

I saw this on Comic View the other night and thought it was funny. From dad's point of view: When the captain of the football team takes your daughter out, the thought of him going b#lls deep and other assorted things he's doing to your daughter could possibly fill you with rage. On the other hand w...

Perhaps "Window on the World" would have been a good radio solo single, although I'm not sure if it's "country" enough. "Coast of Carolina" is a good song but the "Carolina" part does not do it for me. Now "Coast of Florida".....that's a hit!!! 8) :l...
