I'm hearing that the organizers are trying to book a 'major act' and getting rid of all the other bands at the Casa. No leaks on who it will be. That might explain the higher registration. I guess it would be cool to see a major act there but it would really stink if they get rid of all the pool act...

I think this is almost a done deal with Jim Asbell....probably Tuesday and Wednesday if all goes right!

Just got word that this is a done deal. Jim will be there from 7-11 Tuesday and Wednesday. This will be a great time.

If you can make it, I'd definitely recommend you go. This guy is as good as I've seen and plays alot of the old stuff.

Thanks cayman2. I actually live in Gwinnett and will keep an eye out for him. He does know a lot of Buffett. He played Please Take Your Drunken 15 Year Old Girlfriend Home and West Nashville and I have NEVER heard anyone play those two.
