Re: Time Loves a Hero
Anybody know anything about this song? Who, What, Where? And why did Jimmy open with a song that even I'd never heard of? :-? I downloaded the original from i-Tunes. Interesting choice. The original really sucks. The 70's were before my time but I always thought Little Feat was on the fringes of cr...

I really had a good time at the show. The setlist was awesome. I loved looking at the crowd when he'd play something they didn't know. Just blank stares, or they would dash off the the potty. Where did that first song come from?? Never heard it. Can anyone enlighten me? I gotta admit, I liked it bu...

The Horizon Has Been Defeated was defenitely an awesome addition. I havent heard Jimmy's version yet, but I love Jack Johnson. I won't go as far as saying that he will carry the torch once Jimmy is done, but I dont know who else will? Kenny Chesney seems to be the choice of the more mainstream pop ...

I am blown away at the mix. The Jack Johnson cover is a nice tip of the hat to a musician who will carry the tiki torch when Jimmy calls it quits.SEofDisorder wrote:so is this the best set list ever or what?

Hawaii Ticket Results
I love Ticketbastard. I was able to get in at 12 seconds past 9am. The first tickets to come up were lawn. Lovely. I took the lawn seat as insurance. I kept trying and finally landed in Section AA, Row 6. That's 14 rows back, a little left of center. I heard horror stories about the line for the law...

Ya know it's sad.. but ever since I bought Kenny's new Island cd.. I've been wanting to sell everything and move to the islands... Hmmm, maybe I will... :-? Not a Chesney fan but I went that route last year. Sold my little sportscar that I loved, quit my band, sold the drums, quit a job I lo...

Waikiki Shell - Lawn Or Reserved
Anybody been to a JB show at this venue? It looks perfect. I am wondering about the reserved seating. I wouldn't mind a seat up front but I don't want to get stuck around boring people who try to sit down during the set. What's the crowd typically like out here?

Re: JB & Jack Johnson
I recall hearing an interview with JB on Radio Margaritaville within the last month or more and JB was talking about Jack Johnson and how he was hoping to meet up with him in Hawaii this year. Although Jack is from Oahu, I think it is no small coincidence that both are playing The Shell within a fe...
