Whatever happened to Harbour girl? She really had the super scoop on tour dates and locations. She was seldom wrong. She really had excellent sources either within the band or the Buffett organization.

Last year's Hawaii concerts were announced about this time. Seems to me that I bought tickets in mid January. Here's hoping.

Jimmy is predictable unpredictable.

For the most part it is usually Shoreline in Mt View. Although, last year he was at the Concord Pavilion. Has done indoor winter shows at the dreaded Shark Pit in San Jose and Oracle Arena in Oakland. Couple of shows at the Fillmore, but for the masses it is usually Shoreline.

Both venues in Hawaii are fairly small. Maui about 5,000 and the Waikiki Shell about 10,000. I prefer the Shell. Something about being under the stars with a back drop of Diamond Head Crater make it somewhat mystical. Neither offer much in the way of tailgating.

For what it is worth. Jimmy did mention that the band will be in the Pacific in February. Last year was good fun. Hope he returns. He mentioned this at the Bridge School Benefit.

The Bridge School Benefit is great. Usually it is an acoustic event so I would not count on seeing the entire band. Maybe, it is Jimmy only. This sort of reminds me of the early days and months after 9/11. The apprehension and anxiety that was on everyone's mind in determing whether to attend any event where a large crowd was expected (sporting events, concerts, etc). In the end, you exercise the proper judgement and move on.
