I am fan of beach music, and also a fan of the now defunct Breeze radio station. I don't think many outside of the NC -SC area understand beach music though....they don't know what they're missing!

went to Willie/ Bob show at minor league ballpark last August here in Charleston... lovely venue, and I would guess only about 1500 concert goers. Was able to get VERY close to stage for both acts. Willie was first, and my favorite by far.
