If you don't like the ticket prices, don't buy a ticket. I've paid anywhere from $20 to $175 apiece for Buffett tickets, and I've gotten my money's worth every time. What if you can't afford a $90 or $130 ticket? Then you don't go. Stay home and listen to the show on RM - or is high speed internet ...

He wrote Elvis Imitators, Banana Republics, Door Number Three, California Promises, Hotel Room, and Where's The Party all covered by Buffett on albums. Probably some I missed to.

Look on ebay. They don't seem to be selling well, and many are at or below face value. Must be that $128 charge for field seats. This just seems to be Philly, Nissan is another story.

I was unable to watch my Washington Nationals play the Phillys around here for some reason...After visiting several bars, only to find these intellectually challenged untermenchen from Washington's ugly step-sister city down the road tuned in to the "O's", I gave up and listened on the rad...

When surfing ebay, don't forget to look for Jimmy Buffet. Eerily he plays the same venues, on the same dates. But sometimes nobody bids on his tickets. Kenney Chesney is another good one.

I switched to Blockbuster from Netflix. The two free in store rentals each month is wonderful. I especially like to get all those tv shows that come out in dvd sets.

People are making lots of money off of those Barnaby records songs aren't they? Stop wasting your money, just get Before the Beach and/or High Cumberland Jubille/Down to Earth.

What is island music? There are many Buffett songs that have nothing to do with the Carribean. Early Buffett sounded more country than anything else, until he discovered steel drums in the 80's.

Anybody heard Steve Goodman sing it? (the guy who wrote it, among a few others) Its on a live cd, and he says Buffett sung it under the name Freddie and the Fishsticks.

Have you checked out the Wild Bird Sanctuary? Its a fun, free stop. Make sure you get there around 2 or 3 for the pelican feeding.

5 O'Clock Somewhere

Some a**hole dj decided to play it on my morning commute. This should not be permitted, very bad for morale. Has anyone gotten fired because of this song yet?
