How do you like the Sirius? I am contemplating it vs. XM. Stern and the NFL have me leaning towards Sirius, but I also like Opie & Anthony on XM.

Although, not crazy about the fact that someone in MA would get tix before someone who is less than 20 minutes away... maybe for those prices they will be hand delivering mine.

It's simple economics. Jimmy understands that we will pay. The venues also understand that we will pay. So the fans are getting it from both ends. I'm not complaing, mind you, to me it's worth the money to be able to do the tailgate, see the show, have a great time, and make some hazy memories. But...

It comes to this, as another poster said, don't go to the show if you don't like the prices. I'm not being mean, I'm just speaking from my experience because I had a chance to buy Philly pre-sale and insisted that I was NOT going to pay those bloated prices, then I was upset all week for not getting...

You usually need to know someone who can get you tickets. I usually can get VIP passes through someone who manages Jimmy Buffett's concerts (a friend of a friend of a friend's wife kind of deal). The pre-sales they had for JB this year only offered a limited number of tickets and held back many for general sale.

In Philly, we had the word about the pre-sale a little in advance (via an e-mail) and the general tickets were only announced sometime the week before. So yes, he's definitely giving shorter notice. But then making us wait longer for the concert! 5 months and 5 days to Philly!

My first one (Banana Wind in 96 in Camden) and the next one (Philly 8/27)with quite a few good ones in between.
