You usually need to know someone who can get you tickets. I usually can get VIP passes through someone who manages Jimmy Buffett's concerts (a friend of a friend of a friend's wife kind of deal). Anyway, I got VIP passes to the concert at Citizen's Bank Park in Philly (8/27). Nice. Let me know how ...

The pre-sales they had for JB this year only offered a limited number of tickets and held back many for general sale. :pirate:

In Philly, I am a season ticket holder for the Wings lacrosse team which plays in a Comcast-owned building. Comcast is the owner of New Era Tickets who offered the tickets (instead of Ticketmaster) and sent out an e-mail to all of their season ticket holders with a password and a link. That's how it...

In Philly, we had the word about the pre-sale a little in advance (via an e-mail) and the general tickets were only announced sometime the week before. So yes, he's definitely giving shorter notice. But then making us wait longer for the concert! 5 months and 5 days to Philly! :pirate:

I was out a bar on Saturday night and they had one of those digital jukeboxes where you can play almost anything. And I played Defying Gravity simply because I read here what it meant to you.

Nobody knew the song, but it wasn't meant for them.

Little Miss Magic TTRWHS - the slow acoustic live version is so much better than the studio version Agree 100%. Although I do have a recording of the benefit concert he played a few years back with LMM on it (with only one small glitch). I got BBB&B when my daughter was born and found that song and...

Re: tailgating?

Having never been to CBP.... So what's going on with the Philly "pre-pay"parking? I bought "tailgate" just to make sure I had somewhere to eat my shrimp cocktail & drink my Corona's. Did anyone else pre-pay? The pre-pay parking is something sorta new on this scale. I had a pre-pay for Prince and it...

I was goofing around on eBay and took notice of the fact that many of the OVER priced seats are expiring with no bids. It seems the people who post tickets with a low price and allow bidding to drive up the price are getting higher prices. There is some comfort in knowing that the guy (or girl) who ...

Yes the Tweeter (NJ) is less than 20 minutes from the Philly Stadiums.

The oversized vehicles are RV's. Normally they let you park in the Acme Parking lot, the Jetro or the Linc parking lot. Honestly. Considering Parrotheads in Philly and Jersey are Eagle fans, there will be some early morning tailgating. My guess is one lot will be near capacity by 10:00 AM. NOBODY t...

There's the Holiday Inn in Cherry Hill (NJ) about 20 minutes from the Stadiums and also the Cherry Hill Hilton both on Route 70. The Hilton is only 1 mile closer than the Holiday Inn but it overlooks the Cooper River Park if you care about such things. The Holiday Inn is across the street from a big...
