Oh Lord, here we go again.

There is definitely more of a country "feel" than some of his recent albums, but I wouldn't call it a country album. I think that he has, once again, woven together a musical style that defies categorization. It's not a rock album or a country album--it's just a Jimmy Buffett album!

OK, here's the latest: since I haven't been able to get ahold of chartroombar, who is ahead of me on the list and supposedly gotten the CDs in May, Fool Button has been kind enough to offer to re-start the vine by sending CDs straight to me. I've given him my address and, once I get them, I'll burn ...

I sent an e-mail last week to chartroombar, but haven't heard anything back yet.

The only time I've ever left early involved waaaaaaay too much tequila (trust me, "or not quite enough" is not an option). Not my finest moment.

Some people leave early to beat the traffic; I prefer to just re-start the tailgating for an hour or two while traffic clears out.

For a less high-tech method, when I lived in Oklahoma City, there was one sleazy broker there that used to pay homeless people to camp out the night before to have the first spots in the line.

I always take any reviews with a grain of salt, but FWIW, the CNN reviewer says its better than the first.
