Re: California to charge for cussing
Unbelievable. :-? You bet they have better things to be doing...and I don't think cleaning up the language is going to do anything to disguise the fact that these lawmakers are beyond incompetent. Wonder how much they're going to bilk the taxpayers for the no cuss jars? I've got two words for you AS...

Re: So was Tiger really contrite?
Was Tiger contrite? I dunno...was Bill Clinton? Was Kobe Bryant? Was....well, I could go on forever but I think you get the picture. Tiger has never showed much emotion on or off the golf course, it's just the way he is. It definitely makes it hard to determine whether or not he's truly sorry. Even ...

It's a miracle there weren't more casualties, but even the death of one innocent person is one too many. My heart goes out to his family.

Lately I've been having problems posting from my iphone. It makes dupe posts. You can post at BN? Other than seeing what the topics are, I can't do anything. :-? Yes I can post. You should be able to post. What happens though is that when I try to get out of the spot I posted at and hit the back ar...

Oh man, that's somewhere I've never been and really want to see...just not sure I could swing it financially from the west coast. Sure would be fun though.

Re: Was there ever a Margaritaville in CA that went under?
On the flip side, some folks choose the name of their business strictly to get the PR that will result from a lawsuit with Jimmy. There were a couple of parrotheads who opened a restaurant somewhere on the central Cali coast (I want to say San Luis Obispo or Pismo Beach...maybe Corey knows/remembers...

Heartbreaking...
After seeing the video it is apparent that he died instantly...which at least brings small comfort to an overwhelming tragedy. 88mph headfirst into a steel pole is not an injury you could (or would want to) survive.

My hubby lived part time in Vancouver for around a year and a half. It rained all winter in the city. I think that's why they have an indoor opening ceremony. It was bound to rain. Up the mountain is usually a different story. He was always amazed how you could take a short drive and go from rainy ...

Sail on, Mr. Morrison... :( And in your honor, one of my most favorite sig lines: "At first I wondered why the frisbee kept getting bigger.....Then it hit me." (I got hit on the bridge of the nose in 8th grade by a frisbee thrown full force. I truly saw stars. I laugh every time I read tha...

Re: Squash..
I LOVE squash, I usually just bake it and put some butter on it and resist the urge for the brown sugar or maple syrup. I also have gotten the hang of spaghetti squash and sometimes have that instead of pasta under meatballs or other kind of spaghetti sauce.. Eggplant? The only way I like it is egg...

Squash baked with butter and cinnamon...YUM! But I totally understand the texture thing. If onions are cut very thin and cooked, I can eat them. But if they crunch in my teeth, no way. And I can't eat fruit with skin...aaaack! Tomatoes....GAG! I've gotten a lot better over the years, but there are s...
