Yeah Zuke, I remember Koplik saying too he would only bring in Buffett on a weekday from now on because "Those Parrotheads are too nuts on a weekend".
Also, he did say he'd bring him back ($$$) but since Jimmy cut back his schedual Hartford is not on the agenda.

I always see in my mind Jimmy playing BEG in Hartford a few years ago, I looked at the crowd and thought, damn this is the BIGGEST party I've ever seen. The crowd was going nuts! I'll never be tired of seeing this tune live. Most of Jimmy's covers he makes his own.

I question this a bit...I hope it's true and it falls when I can get there, but there is a yearly touring pattern of alternating J. Beach & MSG shows for us in the New York market. As much as I like J. Beach, the Garden is far more accessible. I know it's not outdoors BUT I do LOVE MSG shows!!

I agree, I tend to get uptight (particularly, with current events) Jimmy's tunes tend to relax me.

I Love Vegas AND Jimmy, but it's tough for me to justify spending more cash for 2 days in Vegas than if I spent 5 during the week there. I usually hit Vegas every August and stay in a top notch hotel including airfair from NY for around $400.00.

I agree, Jimmy should throw in a Stadium show here or there, he would still sell out in the major markets, but at least we'd have a chance.
