I was buying parking passes at the alderman's office in my neighborhood, they said they didn't have any info yet, but it would be through them. Been meaning to check up on that... That sucks...I live in Gold Coast, so I guess I'm S.O.L. unless I can find someone that lives in the 47th ward to score...

I'm jealous as hell of all you lucky pholks that scored tickets - especially those of you that scored tickets on the field! I'll probably be across the street at a beer garden, throwing back Coronas and straining to hear Jimmy echoing out of the stadium. :( So...if any of you guys find yourselves wi...

I was first exposed to Jimmy's tunes courtesy of my dad's vinyl collection...he had some of the oldies, but I think they got donated to Goodwill a looooong time ago :( My first concert was in Pine Knob, MI, in 1994 during the Fruitcakes tour. Great times...as far as I can remember  That got me...

Re: Looking forward to Wrigley
Many people had difficulty getting tickets. Having worked my way through college working as a scalper, I did not have so much trouble. We may have extra tickets that I will sell at FACE VALUE (believe me I'm a long way from college!) if my pals decide they don't want them. What hotel are people sta...

Re: Wrigleyville Area
I'm coming in for the Labor Day show. How is parking around the field? Is it best to get one of the near hotels and hop a bus to the field? Thanks! You could consider getting a hotel out near O'Hare, leaving your car there, and taking the blue line out to the show. The blue line runs 24/7, and all ...

Just a guess here, but if it means the CTA could make some extra bucks with the increased traffic, they might run a few extra trains those days. Don't count on it...the service cuts are partially to save money, but mostly they're trying to extort money from the state. They've already refused to inc...

I'm a big fan of Murphy's Bleachers...it's got a ton of outdoor space, bars scattered throughout, and a stand in the middle that sells stadium hotdogs, polish sausages, burgers, etc.. Since it's across the street from Wrigley's bleacher gate (gate N, I believe), it shouldn't be as crowded before/aft...
