parking

yeah, we've used that method on several occasions when all our other old reliable spots were taken and haven't had any problems. we've parked in driveways and garages of private residences, and the owners just hang out, have a beer and collect the dough. definitely a perk of living there.

another option to those driving....drive down the alleys around the ballpark - if a garage is open, that means the owners will let you park in their garage for a fee. it's usually cheaper than what the nearby lots charge ($20-$30 just for a cubs game and easy out). trust is involved, but we've never...

have to agree...got wrigley tix in a similar fashion - called the cubs number 45 minutes ahead of time and stayed on - got right in. don't wait any later, it will be busy.
