Re: I will Play for Gumbo

I have about 5 different ones, but here is one I normally make after Thanksgiving. It originally was an Emeril's recipe, but I've teaked it a bit. Turkey sa...

And I normally don't like Absolut.

OMG what a waste of time  The Movie barely followed the book. It was very choppy and bad acting. I was highly dissapointed. I feel like Marvin now, Totally depressed :( would Drinking Improve the movie??? No. Not at all. The acting seemed forced, movie hardly followed the book as Side13 said,...

So I woke up this morning at 7:30 and stumbled into the kitchen. After heating up leftover lasagna and popping open a Sprite, I remembered this thread and had a good giggle. :)

Looks like McNabb is fed up with his crap too. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2049794 You know, in all honesty, we (I live near Philly) did fairly well without T.O. once he was hurt. The team didn't fall apart at the seams like he seems to think we will without him. Hell, we certainly ...

I was a complete spaz in high school, and still have no luck with women, so I never went to homecoming or prom. I do remember one year my friends and I spent the night in someone's basement playing DnD, drinking Mt. Dew and eating Cheetos. Yes, I really was THAT geeky. That's not too geeky, that's ...

OK, my mind is wandering. I am picturing the girl on the step stool in the library. Hair up, big glasses. You peek over the top of your glasses, then toss them aside. Pull the clip from your hair and shake it loose.........Oh god I love books :o  small wire rimmed glasses, but the rest is righ...

When we were in Vegas last month for vacation, I mentioned the Wynn while we were sitting at a blackjack table in the Monte Carlo. One of the guys at the table said he was going to be working there (obviously, I don't know the validity of anything he said). They are trying to cater to the much riche...

I never got to go to any proms or dances (went to an all girls school, was a bookwork, didn't get out all that much), so I always felt like I missed out on something. But everyone I've ever asked always says I didn't. Is that really true?

I've read so many horror stories about newera and people either waiting forever to get their tickets, being repositioned, not being able to order them to begin with, I guess I'm counting myself real lucky I didn't have any real problems. I got a couple of page errors when I tried to order, but was a...

If I recall correctly the national version of the Hawaii LP was around $18 or so at Tower and today at Wal-Crap I saw it for $13 something. At the same time, The Rolling Stones Virgin Records recent reissue of Made In The Shade at Tower is about $13 something and at Wal-Bunk it's exactly $9.72. I'l...
