Maybe this will help pass the time till you head to OKW. We stayed at SSR this trip and it was ok. We really did miss the tropical, relaxing feel of OKW.

Thanks, lilsalty! I don't think having a few TT in the middle of the afternoon would be too wise for me! With 2 kids at school I would be well buzzed by the time they got home!! It was a delicious drink at TL, but at $8.75 a pop I only got one!

Typhoon Tilly


1/2 ounce of Blue Curacao
1/2 ounce Melon Liquor
1/2 ounce of Banana Liquor
1 ounce of Malibu Coconut Rum
4 ounces of Pina Colada Mix
Mix all ingredients in a blender and Enjoy!

Makes me want one at 1 in the afternoon!!!!

Was at Blizzard Beach last week. Had lots of fun with the sunburn we got, too. Even with SPF 50 we got red. We like Typhoon Lagoon better. They serve Typhoon Tilly's there and they are quite tasty!! Stayed at Saratoga Springs.

Not sure if this thread belongs here (if not, feel free to move). How did everyone do today trying to buy their tickets? I was able to get in TM on the first try and got 3 pavilion seats. Far left, row N. After the last monsoon at Pine Knob, I figured pavilion would be a good choice. Can't wait!!! 8)

I would try to get to Jelly Rolls at opening. They open at 7 and they do card at the door. I am almost 40 and still get carded! If you get there later, it will be standing room only. Ray and Scott are the best. Michael I could really skip, but that is personal preference. JR is a hoot!

Yes, if you call they can put your requests in. There is NO guarantee as to what you will get. We always ask for Peninsular Road and then request buildings 23-26. The villas along the canal also offer beautiful views, especially at night.

This was the view from our villa 2332. It is in the Peninsular Road area and to me has the best views. Ponds and a golf course are beautiful to look at on your balcony!! This was taken in October.
