OK, I finally broke down and bought an 8gb SanDisk and so far I am happy with it but I filled it up already and next time will get a bigger one. My question is I have been ripping my CD's at 256kb and see my 8gb is only about 1200 songs. Do ya' all rip at a much lower rate or what is the norm? My 14...

Get out on the water. Dry Tortugas trip is nice, but it'll take up a entire day. Lots of 1/2 day fun or fishing trips to choose from too. Never did a sunset cruise there, but they're pretty popular. also try to get to the beach by the Fort for sunset. After you take in the typical Mallory Sq stuff ...
