It's been years since I played music for any occasion, but I seem to remember something like: if you are not collecting any money from anyone during your use of the music, you can play it live, recorded, sampled or anything else. If you do receive monetary gain, you either have to have permission or...

I went scuba diving over the weekend in Monterey and saw a lot of it. Swallowed a little and washed it down with sea water. Made me lose my Pop-Tart I had for breakfast.

cold pizza is the best cure for seasickness.

I usually order a peperoni or combo pizza the night before a dive trip then take it in a cooler with me on the dive boat.

Also works for deep sea fishing.

I'm a practicing agnostic. If there is a higher power of some sort, I really don't think it cares about day-to-day doings of humanity or anything else. I mean, really, are we that arrogant to think that a higher power would care about our doings? What makes us that important? If I may say something...

Wow. A lot has been said here and I have heard most all of it at sometime or another so I'll jump on in. I was raised Southern Baptist but don't follow their "rules" like I was taught to do. I like to have an alcoholic beverage now and again, I like cigars and pipes and I like to dance. Al...

I remember watching a documentary, or something like one, about Croce. He and Jimmy and James Taylor all lived together for a while in a kind of commune setting or something. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and is there more info about it? Like did they work on songs together? How long did t...

Not allowed here in Cali... In fact we can't even get beer brought to us in the stands at a pro baseball or football game. We have to get out of our seats and go to the beer booth before the 8th inning.

If you don't already scuba dive, treat yourself to a weekend course and go a little deeper than snorkeling. It's a completely different world when you can take the time to be underwater with the critters. And in February, the whales are migrating. When your diving you can hear them call to each othe...

I hate clubbing seals. They never pay a cover charge, people buy them drinks, all girls tell them they're "soooo cute" and to top it off, their breath stinks.
Why would anyone be for clubbing seals?
