Hoping JB and AJ win is obvious, but I also hope Jim “Moose” Brown and Don Rollins win for song of the year. Thanks to them, Jimmy enjoyed his 1st #1, his 1st CMA, and hopefully his first Grammy. Although not overly important in the grand scheme of things, it's been great frosting on the cake, and I hope they get something to show for it too!

Anyone know when they announce who is performing at the Grammy's? Not that they're in a major category, but it sure would be fun to see Jimmy and AJ again in front of a national audience!

They do it gradually throughout the month of January... they like to build the suspense. Go to www.grammy.com for the latest.

Belated thanks Lee! I knew I could count on you...

I've checked grammy.com periodically over the last couple weeks, but haven't seen anything new. I'll keep checking.

Reminder!!!! The Grammy's are Sunday night!

Still no Buffett listed as performer or presenter. I guess we can hope he gets announced as a winner!

Most of the performers make me go  , but a couple are good for a :) . And maybe they'll still add Jimmy for a bit of wholesomeness after the Superbowl compaints about modern music.

Does anyone know what order the awards will be presented? I'd really just want to watch the presentation of the awards Jimmy is nominated for. Given the choice, I'd prefer to avoid the hip-hop crapola, but still see Jimmy.

JMHO....

Unfortunately, I don't think this award is presented on TV. USA today had nominees listed in Friday's edition.....and they didn't even list this category. Therefore, I believe it is one of them they present before television coverage starts. If anyone knows differently...I'd love to know!

Assuming since it's probably a pre-telecast award, he figures why bother.

Honestly you can't go wrong with any of those songs. But we still gotta root for Bubba!

I would think that this one would be televised because of Johnny and June Carter Cash. The Grammy's never miss a chance to honor people who have died. If they are the winners, than the chance of it being on tv are that much better, in my view.
