Vegas 10/22/05 How Did You Do!?

Post by Mplsfins »

I scored 2 tickets in section 105 row GG. It is the $105 section.
Anybody know if these are good or not?
I thought it better to have tickets in hand before I book air and hotel.
A Boys weekend in Vegas. Might have to put the bail money in my coconut bra the night of the concert.
Anyone else from Minnesota making the trek this weekend?

That's close to where we sat last year....obviously not the best seats in the house, but good enough for us! We had a blast.....and could see just fine....even through beer goggles!

Im hoping my hotel can get me better seats---hopefully in the first few rows.

Does anyone think Toby Keith may be a special guest--since his bar and grill is suppose to open round that time at Harrahs?

Scored two tickets on the floor ( D row J) for a couple that is getting married in Oct. Never met them, but their TM connection would not offer any floor so I nabbed a couple for them. The wife and I snagged two in lower level L13 row G. We have two extras at face value lower level section U13 row P. If you are interested just email us.

I was on within 2 mins after they went onsale. We got 4 seats in sec.U7. Wasnt too worried about where were sitting, I know what he looks like  Im sure it will be loud enough too. Now its just a matter of finding the pre-party, is there a parking lot for tailgating? We're at the Flamingo all weekend so kinda hoping something is going on there other than my own drunkeness. Turning 40 in Vegas with Buffett, who could ask for anything more?! I may not come home.
See you all on the 22nd!!!!

A question for all the Vegas veterans. I have two sets of tickets, one Sec J Row D on the floor and another U6 Row V. I have never been to the Grand Garden Arena. Which seats are closer to the stage or have a better view?

ticketmaster or mgm should have a seating chart for you to look at.

They do, but even a seating chart doesn't tell you how much the upper sections overhang the lower ones. In some venues I have been to (for other concerts) a seat in an upper section actually would have afforded a better view than one in a lower section further back.

Bet big... REAL big. Oh yeah, and you may want to place your bets at Bellagio, MGM, Mirage, TI, or New York, NY.

From what I remember, the upper section does not hang over the lower section. Its not a large venue; maybe about the size of a large high school basketball arena.

There is a reason that the upper level is half the price of the lower level. I had tickets there once at the MGM. Yuck!! instead I bailed down to the lower level. Some college kids were causing a ruckus and when the ushers went down to control them, I snuck down and took their seats. Much better. All of the low level seats are great, much better than upper, but at $210 a shot it is a tough call. We have extras in the lower section if you want an upgrade.

My Hotel (Harrahs(we have one out here)) is already giving me Friday night, Saturday night, and sunday night free Hotel stay ( 710 dollar stay) they asked why I was coming out, told them, so with the more comp points I will accumulate in the next few months---hopefully getting better seats will be easy, if not--maybe upgrade me to a presidental suite.
