I haven't seen anything lately - when is Party At The End Of The World coming out? Is it actually coming out (ha ha)? This year? Late August or September right? Just curious.

Lot of hard work going into this one, I've heard, and it's supposed to be worth waiting for.
A short time after the Wrigley concerts last year I know that I saw a post that there was to be a Wrigley Live release.Sam wrote:Has anyone heard, anything about releasing any "LIVE cds" from this concert tour? ( I admit I have not been keeping track. )
Yep, but supposedly even more so than usual, this time....thebeachbumm33 wrote:Aren't they all worth waiting forSchoolGirlHeart wrote:Latest word is November.

CDs are also technically "long players" even though they hold more music than traditional vinyl recordings.Sidew13 wrote:Buffett coming out with an LP? I better find a player
j/k
Hasn't he only played two songs from the new album, the title track and "Here We Are"? If so, I'd say two tracks is hardly representative of an entire album. And, from what I've read, "Party At the End of the World" hasn't exactly received rave reviews.changingchannels wrote:alot of work went into Fruitcakes so this is very exciting.and from the songs he's played already from the new album im sure its going to be a real winner.
depends.. it's not a bad song. Better than "Spending Money", "Mermaid in the Night" or "Strange Bird"Jahfin wrote:Hasn't he only played two songs from the new album, the title track and "Here We Are"? Hey, hey now....... I LIKE Spending Money and Strange Bird!!RinglingRingling wrote:depends.. it's not a bad song. Better than "Spending Money", "Mermaid in the Night" or "Strange Bird"
Fair enough, I'm just saying two songs is hardly indicative of Buffett's new album being "a real winner". I'm glad to hear of Will Kimbrough's involvement but then again I didn't hate License To Chill nearly as much as I thought I was going to either. The biggest drawbacks initially were the involvement of the likes of Toby Keith and the abundance of cover tunes, the latter of which actually ended up working in it's favor. Hey, it's better than an album full of "Hokey Pokey's" and "Altered Boy's".changingchannels wrote:Jahfin wrote:Hasn't he only played two songs from the new album, the title track and "Here We Are"?
