Perhaps this isn't really me.
Pretty amazed you and I are even having this conversation aren't you?2muchcoffeeman wrote:If you're not who, who are you?surfpirate wrote:No one is ever amazed and thrilled

One of you two is you. Perhaps even both! I really doubt neither of you is you.surfpirate wrote:Pretty amazed you and I are even having this conversation aren't you?2muchcoffeeman wrote:If you're not who, who are you?surfpirate wrote:No one is ever amazed and thrilled

Can you believe these people think they're actually talking to Jimmy?
Speaking for myself, I never said I thought I was actually talking to Jimmy or more specifically that "Jim Buffett" is "the" Jim Buffett. Having said that, much like the children who send their letters to Cinderella and some intern signs a photo and sends it back and the child shows it proudly to their friends, there is no reason to put down people who might just have the hope that maybe it really is him. When I go to the mall in December, the man in the big chair is Santa Claus. I call him Santa. I say "Thank you Santa." That doesn't mean I believe he is Santa just like I don't necessarily believe that it really is Jimmy Buffett. When a person goes to confession, they are talking to a priest with faith that someone else is listening to what they have to say. If people wish to come here and say "thank you" or throw out a request or have something personally meaningful to say in the off chance Jimmy might see or hear about it somehow, what's wrong with that?captainalex wrote:It's good harmless fun.SeattleParrotHead wrote:I agree with you, Bonzo....

I guess nobody, not Jimmy nor anyone in his camp, would ever actually bother with anything that goes on here. Why would they? I suppose that is really pathetic and to think that could happen. Nevermind that we know that at least one of the Reefers posts on here occasionally, as recently as this morning.
Oh..... and there's one other reason to maybe just have one iota of faith....
Yes Virginia, there is a Jimmy Buffett...
