Florida Lottery Margaritaville Scratch Off

Post by catsway »

This morning while watching TV in Orlando, I saw a commercial for a Margaritaville scratch off Florida Lottery game. Any winners out there?

Win up to $250,000, win up to 12 times, and a second chance drawing for those rare losing tickets? This looks like a sure thing to me.

If this is for real, this is an example of the commercialism that, for me, cheapens the music.

The Florida Lottery helped put our 'keets through college with Masters degrees. Nothing cheap about that. And the 'keets bought us our first Buffett concert tickets. Gotta love them.

Jimmy drives a lot of tourism through Florida and supports many Florida charitable causes. Nice way for the state to recognize his contributions.

Agreed. These casinos, resorts, restaurants, etc. that have become Buffett's stock in trade are the very things he used to rail against. Key West in the 70's used to be sort of a hidden gem until Buffett (through no fault of his own) helped to popularize it. I'm not one of them but a lot of natives of that area outright despise him for it. On a more positive note, I understand it's still possible to find spots in the Keys that are free of the commercialization it's become associated with thanks to Buffett but evidently they're harder and harder to find these days.

Absolutely agree catsway! The Lottery has also put our two keets through The Florida State University. Oldest will be starting her Masters this summer!! 8)

The scholarship program leaves us with more cash to spend on Bubba concerts!!

I'm glad that Jimmy worked a deal to increase lottery ticket sales as all Florida Keets have an equal chance at obtaining these available funds!!

Thanks, Jimmy!!

A lady that I went to school with here in my small town just won 1 million via scratch off ticket....not the Margaritaville one though.
I'd go buy a Margaritaville ticket today if I had not left my wallet in my wife's car.

and oh yeah...Go Noles! -----> Do it BIG then!!!

Stopped on my way back home for gas near Live Oak and bought a ticket for Cat to scratch off when she gets home from work. Maybe we can win a night out?
