So Long July SATURDAY @ the MSC
Good morning everyone.
Low key day here at Ringville. We were to have Grandson #1 (Eli) overnight while his parents attend a Guns N’ Roses concert at Hershey Park stadium tonight. (A band our son-in-law has on his bucket list). But…..yesterday Eli was apparently in close contact with a covid positive person at day camp
What do you have going on?

Morning BNers
Going on?? Nothing planned. There is an Astros game on this afternoon.
They won last night in SF. Altuve hit a grand slam. But one of my favorite player...Myles Straw got traded.
I don't like change....

Good morning, it's another heat advisory day. The heat index is already over 100 and it's supposed to be 108 again like yesterday.
I saw Myles Straw play against the Pelicans a few times, he was on the Buies Creek Astros in the Carolina League. He was the fastest guy on the field.springparrot wrote: ↑July 31, 2021 8:39 am Morning BNers

Evening, peeps.
No plans, just chores. Listening to a band from the deck bar down the street.
Grilled pork chops and salad for dinner, boring but healthy.

I think Austin City Limits is on at different times and different days in various cities, but I just saw they're having highlights of appearances by Jerry Jeff Walker and Billy Joe Shaver on this week's show. Check your local listings, it's on at 11:00 tonight here on the coast of (South) Carolina.

Breckenridge Brewing makes some good beer. Unfortunately I can't get any of them here, I've only had them in Las Vegas.

Re: So Long July SATURDAY @ the MSC
Good Evening Gang! Back home from quick trip "Up North". Caught a local fundraising outdoor concert up there, the BENZIE BAYOU SHOW. Enjoyed
some very fine Blues, Swing & Jazz Music. Unfortunately couldn't stick around long enough for the Zydeco portion.
Part of the purpose of the trip was that my Girlfriend Lynn has a piece of vacant property up there & wanted to put it for sale. She decided it was time to put it on the market. We met with the realtor, looked over the property checking to see if there were any survey lot markings (3 of 4 corners had been) & deal with a neighbor who seems to be encroaching on it via mowing more & more on her side of the fence. We don't believe his mowing intentions were honorable. We believe he was trying to "claim" some of this property as his own due to the lack of her maintenance (mowing). In discussing the situation with him ..A) making him aware it's going up for sale &.....B) Asking him not to mow citing liability purposes. Then after him getting defensive & bordering on being defiant had to play the "Your Trespassing" card. It's a lightly wooded area so it's not like it's a breeding ground for critters galore or a dump site & is far from being an eyesore.
Regardless, unfortunately, the Good Doctor comes home with a nasty case of Poison Ivy on his right arm. What I thought was some skeeter bites from last weekend turned into some nasty rashed up dreaded Ivy. It's also spotting some on the left arm & looks like it's wanting to spot on my legs as well. Hate this sh*t!
Enjoy your Saturday Night Live everyone!!
