I'm afraid, very afraid, to fire up the work laptop after yesterday's GIANT KLUSTER

But, it looks like the sun may stick around so at least I'll get a decent walk today.

Our son is now home from his military assignment in Philly. He is ordered to self quarantine for 14 days (in addition to the 5 he already had in at the hotel during his assignment). He's hoping the military continues to pay him since his orders don't expire until May 18. But, as with the military, you never know.

I am sitting here trying to figure out if I can pull off today's video conferences in my pajamas. This work from home stuff really makes it even harder for me to follow a decent dress code than it did when I had to go to a work place.

Rumor has it it may be mid 60's today so that has be excited. I am so ready for being able to sit out on the patio with my morning coffee.


Well, I guess I better at least go put in my contacts since I have meetings starting in less than an hour......Have fun today, kids

It's the little things, right ?

Well....stupid me.....i had three stumps near my lawn sprinkler pump which were sort of rotted out, and i was able to remove them fairly easily on Saturday. I found out yesterday, when the sprinklers went off, that one of the stumps was wrapped around two of the underground lines......at the least the leaking water created a hole and exposed the broken pipes...just have to dig the holes larger and fix them.

It will three bloody knuckles, a small cut on my left hand, a sprained ankle, $6 in plumbing supplies and $27 in beer. Past that, sprinklers will work again.
