Isaias SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. Florida braces for a hurricane and the pandemis surge. I feel okay about being stuck in the norwoods of PA these days.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I'm watching a show on the first famous English pirate, Francis Drake. I fell in love with wooden ships as a a kid. I could draw this ship when II was 10.

Re: Isaias SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning everybody.
The outside of our windows are covered in dew Which means super high humidity. We got rain overnight which was very much needed and I’m thankful my flower beds and tomatoes have gotten a nice drink.
Not much happening today except our German club member picnic which will be very different, like most events

Good morning Bill and Linda and BN.
Hope you're feeling better, Linda?
Walking up to our favorite steakhouse for brunch this morning, then it's just housework and stuff to do around here.
But now it's time for our walk. Probably can't later, as we're supposed to have our usual storms.

We're out and about in the rain this morning. Had breakfast at Bob Evans and now on to the grocery. Bryan's parents are coming over later today for Steak, baked potatoes and salad. I'm going to make a Blueberry dump cake for dessert with vanilla ice cream. Have a great Sunday!

Good morning. I forget to set up the coffee pot before I went to bed last night so I'm moving slow.

I am, thanks! thinking it was the new med I started yesterday -- first pill at 11:30 -- didn't get to eat until close to 6:00 and with the heat we had it just did me in.SMLCHNG wrote: ↑August 2, 2020 8:54 am Good morning Bill and Linda and BN.

Re: Isaias SUNDAY@ the MSC
One of those days yesterday that it seemed like everything wasn't going to go good.
Got to the Golf Club in the morning, and the ice machine was broken so i had to double back to the house to fill my cooler (which of course was holding a few precious beers in the event that the beverage cart gal was coming around in a timely fashion)
Got back to the house, and the ice bucket in the refrigerator was real low, due to Happy Hour Friday night.
Rode back to the Club, and when i arrived, my golf cart died as a post broke off of one of the batteries. Got it working enough to drive it back to the house and friend followed me on his cart and took me back. OF COURSE, i forgot the cooler.
On the second green, which is at the entrance of our subdivision, and witness a bad accident which included a roll over (Everybody was OK)
Got home and ordered a new battery, which was to be available today, only to discover later that i ordered the wrong battery.
Decided to trim around the house, as i just cut the grass on Friday. Trimmer ran out of string.
Turned on the BBQ, ran out of gas (had a refill however)
Stubbed my toe last night on the coffee table (A few four letter words were used)
Things however got better today. I called the store which ordered me the battery to tell them that i had ordered the wrong one. The guy said that he knew what i was looking for, and that the one i referenced wasn't going to work. He ordered exactly what i need. Get to pick it up at 2:00 PM.
I told you i got WAAAYYYYY TOOOOO much sleep last night..

I had a tough day yesterday too. It was raining so hard in the afternoon when I went downstairs to get my mail that I had to change into dry clothes when I got back upstairs.

Afternoon BNers
Good grief Michi.
Love reading the sagas of your life.
Maybe you should have stayed inside with a beer or 3.

The Mets lost again. And in another "only the Mets" story, Yoenis Cespedis didn't show up for the game and the team wasn't able to contact him. The game was in Atlanta. When you're on a road trip, doesn't the whole team stay at the same hotel?
