Re: Getting Wet TUES @ the MSC
Hi there! We had a picnic in a pavilion during a down pour.
My neighbor just asked a weird favor. He has a bunny hutch that needs a mural showingMichelangelo's painting of God and Adam. It's a 4x8 sheet.
I'm thinking bunny seraphims.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Never like to hear/see that. Hope he is okay.LIPH wrote: ↑August 4, 2020 6:55 pm I was watching a hockey game and a player from Toronto got injured. The trainer came on the ice to check on him and it didn't look like he was seriously injured. Then another trainer came on the ice, then a guy in a suit, probably a doctor. Then a few other medical type personnel came out. Fifteen minutes later they strapped him to a body board with his head immobilized, put him on a stretcher and wheeled him off the ice. And the stretcher was tilted so that his head was lower than his feet. No word yet on what's wrong with him.

Hmmm. That reminds me. We have a bag of our homemade sauerkraut in the freezer. I think theirs even a pork roast down there somewhere. Maybe for tomorrow’s dinner.

Re: Getting Wet TUES @ the MSC
Our predicted vicious storms ended by noon. Then we had sun with humidity until about 8 pm. Then came a huge downpour but with the sun still shining we got a rainbow. Now that’s gone but so is the rain.
We are finally binge watching breaking bad. We’re on season 3 and are just starting to think it’s getting better. I guess when we compare it to the 8 seasons of Dexter that we finished 2 Weeks ago it’s a little slower on the start.

I really liked Breaking Bad, I've probably watched the whole series 4 or 5 times. I remember reading that the Jesse Pinkman character was originally supposed to be killed off but they decided to keep him on the show because the fans liked him so much.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Re: Getting Wet TUES @ the MSC
lots of cabbage -- usually about 15 lbs worth. Sliced on a mandolin, tossed a few times with a ratio of kosher salt (would have to check the ratio) and then pressed down into a food grade bucket. Add a plate with something heavy to keep the sauerkraut pressed/weighted down. Put on a tight lid and that's it! We usually check it a few weeks later to make sure the liquid from the cabbage is above the cabbage level. I think it sits for about 8 weeks.
